Learning Centered Pedagogy Training

“Educating for GNH: Creating A Learning-Centered Community in the College Classroom” is a unique and successful professional development initiative involving all faculty at CLCS.  This intensive four day training helps college lecturers build deeper understanding and enhanced skill in applying a learning, rather than subject – centered,approach in their planning, teaching and assessment practices.   The training is combined with a follow-up coaching and mentoring component to address the challenges of immediate application in diverse teaching contexts.  Three cohorts of faculty have taken the training to date, and another  (bilingual) version of the training will be offered in the near future.
