CLCS observes National Teacher’s Day

The day began with the reception of the chief guest and lecturers by students with Chibdrel Ceremony. Soon after, butter lamps were offered to commemorate the birth anniversary of His Majesty The Third King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck and for the wellbeing of country. Various cultural programs were presented by students to mark the day. The day saw a few items, such as dances and songs, even from the lecturers adding to the beauty of the day.

The observance of Teacher’s Day is a platform to reflect on and discuss issues pertaining to teachers and to find solutions so that they can enhance and deliver quality services with full interests and vigour. World Teacher’s Day would, thus, help to recognise and celebrate the effort of all the teachers.
