Lungtaen Gyatso has a Masters degree in Buddhist Studies and an additional Masters degree in Sanskrit Literature. His primary research interest is ‘wellbeing and spirituality’. He is also an Executive Faculty of the Royal Institute of Governance and Strategic Studies (RIGSS), Phuentsholing, Bhutan and a visiting faculty of Kathmandu University, Kathmandu, Nepal. He co-authored The Light of My Life, English-Dzongkha Dictionary, Dzongkha-English Dictionary and has published several articles on philosophy, language, well-being and culture.

Choni Tshewang holds M Phil degree in Asian Studies from Oslo University, Norway. He has studied Anthropology in Buddhism, History and Culture of Himalayan regions. His primary research interest is in history and cultural areas. Currently, he teaches Himalayan Culture, History, and Anthropology in the college.

Jigme Dorji holds Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from Mahidol University, Thailand. He studied second language acquisition theories, trend in applied linguistics and theoretical and practical issues in language teaching approaches.  Prior to joining the college, he taught English language and literature at various levels of schools (Primary, High and Higher Secondary) for nine years under the Ministry of Education, Bhutan. Currently he teaches English language, literature and literary theory to the undergraduates. His research interest is in the area of language teaching and learning, second language acquisition, interlanguage pragmatics, intercultural communicative competence and sociolinguistics.
