Dependra Basnet is a dedicated Software Developer and ICT professional with a strong foundation in software engineering, data analysis, cybersecurity, and Web3 technologies. He combines technical expertise with practical problem-solving skills to design and deliver secure, scalable, and user-focused digital solutions. Currently serving as an ICT Officer at the Royal University of Bhutan, Dependra is responsible for managing and maintaining campus-wide ICT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization platforms, networking systems, cybersecurity practices, and institutional digital services. His role involves close collaboration with academic and administrative departments to ensure reliable, efficient, and secure technology operations. Previously, he completed an 11-month Frontend Developer Internship at Chainzeeper, where he contributed to the development of modern web applications and blockchain-based platforms. He worked extensively with Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS to build responsive and high-performance user interfaces, while integrating Web3 functionalities using Ethers.js and Solidity for decentralized applications and DeFi platforms. Dependraโs technical interests extend to artificial intelligence, data analysis, computer vision, and system-level programming. He has developed projects including a facial recognition attendance system, an AI-powered resume analyzer, data forecasting models, and immersive 3D WebGL applications using Three.js. His work reflects a strong balance between innovation, functionality, and real-world usability. With strong analytical thinking, effective communication skills, and a commitment to continuous learning, Dependra strives to contribute meaningfully to digital transformation initiatives. He is passionate about building technology solutions that are impactful, efficient, and sustainable.
