ANNOUNCEMENT

College of Language and Culture Studies (CLCS), Taktse, Trongsa, is pleased to invite applications from Class XII graduates of 2025 and earlier years for admission to various undergraduate programmes for the July 2026 intake. Candidates are requested to note the following:

1. Interest & Commitment: Only candidates genuinely interested in pursuing a career in Bhutanese language, cultural heritage, and humanities are encouraged to apply.
2. Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must carefully review the eligibility criteria and Subject Ability Rating before applying: VIEW SELECTION CRITERIA.
3. Accuracy of Data: CID number, Class X index number, and Class XII index number must be entered accurately. Errors will result in the direct rejection of the application.
4. Contact Email: Applicants must provide an active Gmail address to receive notifications and to make necessary edits before the 15 March deadline.
5. Intake Capacity: The approved intake is 125 seats (funded by the Royal Government of Bhutan). There is no provision for self-financed enrollment.
6. Shortlisting: At least 75 applicants for each programme will be shortlisted based on Class XII marks and Subject Ability Rating.
7. Publication of Shortlist: The list for the Entrance Test will be published on the college website at on 23 March 2026.

After the application deadline, all submissions will be reviewed and ranked. The 75 shortlisted applicants for each programme are required to sit for the CLCS College Entrance Test (CET).

Final selection is based on a merit ranking determined by a combination of the Subject Ability Rating and the CET score (the CET is allocated 3 rating points in the final weightage).
