Vacancy Announcement for Administrative and Technical Positions

The College of Language and Culture Studies, Royal University of Bhutan, Taktse, Trongsa, is pleased to announce the following vacancies in the Administrative and Technical sections. Eligibility Criteria

  1. Must be a Bhutanese citizen.
  2. Must be at least 18 years old and not more than 45 years old.
  3. Must meet the benchmark criteria:
    1. Candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 60% each in Class X (English + best 4 subjects) and Class XII (English + best 3 subjects), and 55% in Bachelor’s degree (honors)/60% in Bachelor’s degree (general).
    2. Candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 60% in Diploma and 50% each in Class X (English + best 4 subjects) and Class XII (English + best 3 subjects)
    3. Candidates must have minimum aggregate of 60% in VTI training and 40% in Class X (English + best 4 subjects)
    4. However, the benchmark criteria shall not apply to candidates who have a minimum of five years of relevant experience and possess a Master’s degree qualification (if any).
  4. Eligible candidates are requested to submit applications via the online portal RUB IMS. Applicants must register and apply at https://ims.rub.edu.bt no later than 15th July 2025, 5:00 PM. All uploaded documents must be scanned clearly and aligned properly.
  5. Preference will be given to those who have experience in the respective profession

 

  1. Disqualification
    1. Convicted of a criminal offence or is under investigation or prosecution for a criminal offence; or
    2. Terminated or compulsorily retired from the University, the Government, Corporation or Project; or
    3. Adjudged medically unfit for employment by a competent medical doctor; or
    4. Intentionally provided false information in the application for employment or used fraudulent practices in the recruitment processes; or
    5. Furnished fake/forged testimonials/documents; or
    6. Failed to furnish testimonials as required under the University Rules.
  2. Requirement Documents
    1. Qualification certificates /Provisional Certificate and mark sheet in MA (if any), Bachelor’s Degree, Class XII, Class X and VTI
    2. Valid security clearance certificate (approved online and valid on the last date of application)
    3. Valid medical fitness certificate (approved online and valid on the last date of application)
    4. Valid citizen ID card both side (approved online and valid on the last date of application)
    5. Valid audit clearance certificate if employed (approved online and valid on the last date of application)
    6. No objection certificate if employed from parent/working agency
    7. Experience certificate/ documentary evidences for current and previous employment records.
    8. Two references in the applications form should both be professional referees from different organizations. (from working agencies and institution/school – recent one)
  3. Applications with incomplete documents and information, and unclear documents will be directly rejected during the time of initial scrutiny
