The college organized a scarf awarding ceremony on 21st May 2019 to acknowledge and appreciate the contributions of the previous student leaders and to welcome the new ones.
The out-going student leaders were presented with scarves and certificates while the new ones were ushered in with scarves and badges.
The program commenced with the reception of the out-going student leaders by the newly elected ones, after which Zhabten was sung and butter-lamps offered by the new candidates. Zhugdrel Phunsumtshogpa was also offered as a custom of the country. Moreover, the old and new chief councilors spoke to the audience expressing their gratitude and best wishes.
The award was presented to around 49 responsibility holders of the college. The ceremony was attended by lecturers and students.
